The Crew

This is the Red Bandana Gaming crew. Here you can meet and learn a bit more about the personalities behind the website and YouTube channel.

Thomas Logan

Logan: Owner, Founder, Creative Director (So basically Big Boss)

This is Logan, but I’m sure you’ve figured that out at this point. He’s been gaming since 1988 when he got his first NES. He’s been a long time Nintendo fan with franchise favorites, such as The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, StarFox, Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing. But his love isn’t limited to just Nintendo. He has a huge passion for all things Microsoft and the Xbox brand (he has an entire glass cabinet dedicated to just Halo) and loves the older PlayStation consoles (PSX, PS2 and PSP). We also can’t forget his favorite Sega console, The Dreamcast. Logan also expands into game creation too, as he has designed character concepts, models and in-game assets. Some of Logan’s all-time favorite games are Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Final Fantasy VIII, Super Metroid, GoldenEye 007 and the Halo series.

Logan is the guy who runs all of the social media accounts, posts all content and comes up with most of the videos you see here. If you have any suggestions, feel free to let the Big Boss know. He’s always open to hear what the RBG community thinks.

Logan has a degree in Computer Art/Animation and Multimedia Studies. He’s worked on concept art and animation for multiple mobile games and indie PC games (due to rights, they can’t be listed here). He is a published writer, has worked with the Miami Book Fair, the geek culture editor for sliverofstonemagazine.com, works as a video editor and producer for multiple YouTube channels and is the co-owner of loganmasterworks.com

“Lich” Bryan

Lich: Co-Founder, Content creator and Riker to Logan’s Picard

This here is Lich. He loves video games. He loves them so much. He’s been playing since 1984. His first experience was handheld electronic boxing game and the rest became history. We’ll just say Lich has played on just about all gaming console since then. Since then has developed an astounding love for the RPG genre. Besides RPGs, he tends to favor arcade games from the 80s and 90s. (That sound you hear every time to drop a quarter in the slot in an arcade cabinet just pumps him up!) He’s also enjoys discussing music theory in video games and how they are composed and developed. Some of his favorite games include Streets of Rage 2, Final Fantasy XI Online and Chrono Trigger.

RBG Alumni

Shawn “Skif” Finnegan

Skif: The guy who loves the tabletop gaming and the main man behind Tabletop to Desktop.

This here is Skif, a man that loves playing games, video or tabletop. He’s been playing video games since he was just a wee boy of 5 or 6 years. His first console was a Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and his first game was The Legend of Zelda.  Skif has a very wide selection of video game genres he enjoys. The list is so long, it is easier to say which genre he does not like playing and that would be sports. It simply isn’t Skif’s cup o’ tea.  However, Skif doesn’t only play video games, he has a major love for boardgames and that started back in his early years too.  Skif was taught a lot of playing card games from his grandmother when he was little, but he also played a lot of “normal” board games, such as  Monopoly, Clue, 13 Deadend Drive, and one of his favorite games that he played often with his brother, Dragon Strike.

Jakejames Lugo

JJ Lugo: Executive Editor and Reviewer Extraordinaire.

This is Jakejames Lugo. He has been connected to video games since he was very young and loves being part of the greater gaming community. Jakejames has over a decade of experience writing, discussing, and making content about video games online, including having his work published in outlets like IGN, PlayBoy, and many others. He works diligently to build a legacy within the gaming community and is a huge fan of action and role-playing games like Devil May Cry, Final Fantasy, God of War, The Witcher, Star Fox, Kingdom Hearts, and many others. Over the years, Jakejames has traveled to many of the biggest events in the gaming industry, as well as been a special guest and speaker at various local conventions and expos.
